Innovations first Federal client was the Department of Veteran Affairs, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Division.  Under a comprehensive “return to work” program that serves veterans with service connected disabilities, Innovations provided Employment Assistance Services and Rehabilitation Assistance Services statewide to referred veterans, serving an estimated 740 veterans annually. 

Innovations Group, Inc. was founded in 1992 as a minority woman and minority veteran owned company.  In 1997, the company received an 8(a) certification from the US Small Business Administration. The firm employs over 50 people and has offices in Arizona and Washington. The Company has been awarded numerous letters of commendation for superior service.

Innovations manages the Phoenix Job Corps Center Outreach and Admissions program.The Job Corps program supports youth at risk with education and training. Innovations is engaged in Outreach/Marketing and Eligibility Determination/Admissions programs to market Job Corps statewide and identify eligible youth who would benefit from the program.   

Innovations was responsible for the administration of the Family Advocacy Program and the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program for the US Army Yuma Proving Ground, an Army Installation located in Southwest Arizona.

The US Department of Energy obtains specialized regulatory compliance and technical support services from Innovations, as do several of the prime contractors supporting DOE at the Hanford Site.
